It also significantly reduces under hood temperatures, which serves to protect major engine parts (Headers, Downpipes, Etc.), hoses (Vacuum Hoses, Couplers, Coolant, Etc.), body parts (Hoods, Fenders, Headlights, Etc.), and painted surfaces from high heat damage.
